Hippy Chick doesn’t just have hummus! This month, we’re showcasing the made-from-scratch food behind this beloved local café. Their philosophy is simple: real food, prepared in-house with ingredients you can feel good about—from their famous fresh-made hummus to their dressings, soups, proteins, cheeses, and more.
Local sourcing is part of their café recipe, too, with produce from Pleasant Hill Produce Farm in Walkersville, and a shared commitment to working with other local makers like The Kombucha Lady—reflecting a mutual focus on sourcing close to home for what we don’t grow ourselves.
For this Locavore Night, we’ll pair a selection of Hippy Chick’s fresh, thoughtfully prepared bites with our estate-grown Maryland wines. Bring your appetite and curiosity—we’ll take care of the wine, food, and the local stories behind both.
